History
I first learned about petanque when I saw it being playing in the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, France. When I returned to the United States, I found a company (Petanque America) who sold boules - and a local club which had many old time players of the sport. After a few years I began a local club in Detroit which played originally along the Detroit River and more recently in Campus Martius and Cadillac Square Parks.

Playing and teaching the French game of petanque. We have many experienced players with different styles of boule throws and welcome your joining us to play regularly or every once in a while.
