Clara Bryant Jr. High opened in Sept. 1951, dedicated to Clara Bryant Ford (1866-1951), the wife of Henry Ford. Dedicated only days before her death, it has become a living memorial to a vital member of the Dearborn community. The building opened with 771 students in grades 5 through 8.

Bryant Middle School offers classes from grades sixth through eighth. Its curriculum includes arts, computers, business, industrial arts, English, foreign languages, health education, math, music, vocational and physical education, science, art and craft, and social studies. It has a drama club and student council, and provides various sport programs, including volleyball, baseball, basketball, swimming, football and chess.
