If detected in the early stages, oral cancer can be effectively treated. During an oral cancer examination, we'll check your oral cavity for sores, red patches, lumps, and leukoplakia. If abnormalities are present, Dr. Day may refer you to the appropriate health professional for an evaluation and biopsy.
