La Donna Wicks envisioned the expansion of LaDonSpa, her e-Commerce business of handcrafted spa products to a retail location and Mary Hurse's vision of providing the opportunity on which her daughters' dreams are built. Michael Young joined the team with his knowledge of the service industry and marketing skills. In Jan. 2008, La Donna, Michael and Mary embarked on their journey of providing transformation and relaxation. Following the passing of Mary in Feb. 2008 and after much learning, personal growth and her blessing of their embarked endeavors, JaMars was created as the focal entity in providing transformation and relaxation to residents and businesses of Detroit.
