Dakota J. Yeaster earned his bachelors degree in exercise science and his masters degree of science in physician assistant studies from Central Michigan University. He also attended Jackson College for emergency medical services training and Hillsdale Fire Academy for firefighter I & II hazardous material operations training.His clinical experience includes urgent care for patients of all ages, wound care and closure, excision of skin lesions, biopsies, administration and interpretation of EKGs and stress tests, joint injections, and as an emergency medical technician. Yeasters clinical rotations included mental and behavioral health, pediatric medicine, family medicine, womens health, internal medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, and cardiology.Yeaster is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants. He also holds a controlled substance license and controlled substances registration certificate. He joined Oaklawn in 2022.
