Operational since 1986, D & M Consultants is a nonprofit corporation that provides a variety of counseling services for mentally ill and developmentally disabled adults. It offers psychosocial and nutritional counseling and crisis management services. The corporation provides medication training and monitoring, job skill development and individual case management services. It also offers a range of housing, recreational, vocational and therapeutic employment opportunities. D & M Consultants additionally provides financial, budgeting and transportation assistance to its patients. The corporation is a member of the Easter Seals of Southeast Michigan, Community Network Services and Training and Treatment Innovations. It serves various state and national committees, including the National Coalition for Community Living, International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Association for Mental Health Services.
