History

We started in 1972 as Copper Country Community Arts Council and have been growing and changing ever since! In 1992 we became the Copper Country Community Arts Center. Over time, we have expanded to having three gallery spaces, many different art classes, and studio spaces for local and visiting artists to utilize.

Specialties

Here at the Copper Country Community Arts Center in Hancock we have wonderful local work in our Artists Market Sales Gallery! Jewelry, paintings, photography, pottery, blown glass, stained glass, wooden bowls, books, cards, and many other unique gifts in all price ranges. We have gift certificates too! Along with our artist market sales gallery we have the Kerredge Gallery and our Youth Gallery, which each change monthly.
