History

I started my own business in 2014. I opened my own office last summer 2016. I serve women in all walks of life. I also serve the Amish up in Brown City and Marlette area.

Specialties

I am a home birth midwife who specializes in normal. I follow a pregnant woman from early pregnancy through six weeks post partum for her and the baby. I do routine prenatal appointments, focusing on great nutrition to help both the woman and her baby. I believe that women can be greatly empowered during this season of life. I walk alongside the woman, never dictating what should or should not be done. I encourage women to exercise, eat a healthy diet and have a positive attitude. I offer water births for each of my clients. It is called a midwifes natural epidural. I am fully trained in neonatal resuscitation and all birth emergencies. I keep my skills sharp by attending births in Haiti at a non-profit free clinic called MamaBaby Haiti. I go at least once a year to serve the Haitian women. I am also part of the organization by being in charge of all the volunteers that go over and I keep the supplies current at the clinic. I trust birth and trust the Mama and baby.
