Clara s On The River is a restaurant that is housed in a railroad depot that no longer serves passengers. The depot has been converted to house several dining rooms and a lounge. The restaurant serves a variety of appetizers, salads, combination plates, soups, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, pizza, Tex-Mex offerings, rib plates, entrees, beef dishes, pork meals, chicken dishes, seafood offerings, deserts, beverages and side dishes. In addition, the restaurant offers a full menu of beer, wine and specialty drinks. The owners of Clara s On The River also operate Clara s Lansing Station, a restaurant that is housed in a train station that is no longer in use. Both restaurants offer the same menu items. Clara s On The River is located in Battle Creek, Mich.

No A/C and the weather was hot. Food and service was good. Old train station is interesting.

The food was very good as well as the ambiance. They had live music and nice seating outside. I highly recommend this place.

Lunch was great...wide range of options. Cobb salad comes in two sizes and the small was plenty. Delicious roll came with it. Soup and salad combo was a hit too. Excellent waitress! Kept water...
