City of Sturgis General Information

The City of Sturgis Wastewater Treatment Plant is responsible for operating and maintaining the sewer system and treatment plant for over 3,500 residential and industrial customers in Sturgis, MI and the surrounding area. With a capacity to treat up to 3.6 million gallons of wastewater per day, the plant utilizes a combination of physical, chemical, and biological processes to reduce pollutants to an acceptable level for discharge into the Fawn River.
