The Lake City Area Fire Department, established in 1915, serves the communities of Lake City and Lake Township, including Jennings, within a jurisdiction of thirty-eight square miles. Formed as a joint venture in 2009, the department is dedicated to providing comprehensive fire protection and emergency services to its residents.
