The City of Flint Water Plant works under the department of utilities and is responsible for operation of the water supply system. The water plant operates various dams on the Flint river and its tributaries. The Department of Utilities operates various drinking water reservoirs, pump stations and water testing laboratories. The City of Flint Water Plant maintains a service center that houses water distribution and sewer maintenance divisions and removes the sewage to water pollution control facility. It additionally has a water pollution control division that cleans wastewater from homes, businesses, and industries and discharges it to the river. The department is located in Flint, Mich.

Spent a few days recently... Loved the people I encountered and met. Real, working class. Of course the city has numerous issues (abandonment, water, poverty, crime). There is also quality places...
