Charlotte Adventist Christian School

Established in 1956, Capitol City Baptist Church & Ministries is an independent church that offers a range of worship, Bible study and adult education services. The church provides bus transportation and child care services, as well as operates deaf and teen ministries. Capitol City Baptist Church & Ministries maintains Capitol City Baptist School, which was established in 1973 and enrolls more than 150 students in preschool through grade 12. Capitol City Baptist School offers several athletic opportunities, such as soccer and volleyball. The school provides scholarships, as well as conducts classes in fine arts. Capitol City Baptist Church & Ministries also operates Capitol City Baptist Bible Institute and College.

Founded in 1984, New Covenant Christian School is a ministry of New Covenant Christian Church. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 and offers classes in math, English, history, science and music. It also maintains an on-site preschool for children of ages 3 to 5. New Covenant Christian School offers a fine arts program that includes drama, choir and band. It additionally conducts Latin and Spanish language classes for secondary school students. The school s athletic activities include soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, softball, cross-country and baseball. The school is affiliated with the Association of Christian Schools International. New Covenant Christian School also provides a tuition assistance program and is located in Lansing, Mich.
