Charlevoix  Hospital - Outpatient Services

Charlevoix Area Hospital, established in 1919 and located in Charlevoix, Mich., is a community hospital serving Charlevoix and northern Antrim counties in Michigan. The more than 20-bed hospital has a team of over 50 physicians and nearly 320 staff representing many specialties. The specialty areas comprise diagnosis; birthing center; emergency department; after-hours urgent care; medical and surgical programs; and intensive, cardiac and pediatric care. The hospital also offers cardiac rehabilitation services, sleep center, respiratory therapy, sports medicine, rehabilitation and respite care. The institution is a nonprofit hospital governed by a community board and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The hospital maintains relationships with Michigan's large regional hospitals for serious and trauma cases, and its rooftop heliport facilitates faster transfers.
