I've gone the route through traditional stock brokers and then a financial adviser. Unnecessary trades, erratic moves, and fees that seemed to compromise my investments - I didn't feel like this...

Schwab purchased the financial company I originally worked signed with last year. Zero communications with an advisor. Mediocre performance compared to federal TSP. Fees higher than other advisors.
