Established in 1936 as a neighborhood tavern, Buddy's Pizza is a group of more than 10 restaurants in Detroit. It offers a variety of pizzas, salads, pasta, burgers and sandwiches. The restaurants also provide a selection of various toppings, such as onions, green peppers, mushrooms, sliced tomatoes, black olives, carrots and cheese. Its specialty pizzas include original veggie, Hawaiian, Sicilian, barbecue chicken and meat deluxe. The restaurants also offer dine-in and takeout party packages. Buddy's Pizza, with a location in Auburn Hills, Mich., prepares pizza sauce with a blend of Stanislaus tomato products, herbs and spices. It also offers gift certificates and participates in several charitable causes. Buddy's Pizza has more than 600 employees.
