Locally owned and operated, North Woods Village memory care assisted living communities are designed and developed solely for those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory impairments. Thurston Woods Village is a nonprofit retirement community that offers a wide variety of housing options. Located in Sturgis, Mich., the center provides various independent apartments and homes to seniors citizens. Additionally, it offers a variety of health care and assisted living services. It provides physical, speech and occupational therapies on-campus. It also offers 24-hour licensed nursing care, wound care, and medication dispensing and treatment services to its residents. It organizes special events and musical programs and monthly birthday parties. It also supports clubs, such as the ladies lunch and the men s breakfast club. Thurston Woods Village is affiliated with the Mennonite Health Services. The center comprises a 100-plus-bed nursing center, 90-plus-bed home for the aged and 30-plus-unit apartment complex.
