Founded in 1951, Crossroads for Youth is a nonprofit organization located in Oxford, Mich. Its core programs provide academic and community services, vocational training, individual and family counseling, aftercare and adventure therapies. The organization operates the Girls Center & Boys Center, which provides individual and group problem-solving techniques and life skills through substance abuse groups. Crossroads for Youth s Learning Center is a day treatment program that offers therapies and confidence-building exercises for people who face challenges in academics. Its Life Preparation Center offers daily living skills and job preparation training. The organization runs an Adventure Center facility that provides therapeutic bonding services to businesses, churches, schools, sports teams, community organizations, and families and individuals. Crossroads for Youth operates a school, residential hall and private lake.
