We had walked around this preserve more than several years ago but never realized it was part of the Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy (SWMLC). Evidently, we weren't so adept at reading signs...

Gorgeous & easy to navigate trail. Dog and kid friendly, but make sure to be careful on the narrow boardwalks. Amazing views without being too taxing. Suitable for beginners.

Hidden treasure near downtown Kalamazoo. Peaceful place to take a nature walk. A little "buggy" - suggest bug spray before you go.

This is a pretty small preserve. It might be nice for a short meditative walk, but not for a longer hike. My friends and I ended up walking right through the preserve and into a Borgess parking...
