Bishop Distributing Company is a full line floor-covering distributor that serivices retailers in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and northwest Pennsylvania. Bishop Distributing Company represents among the top brand names in vinyl, laminate, ceramic and porcelain tile, wood, carpet, carpet cushion, rubber flooring and various sundries. Its nearly 30 product lines include names such as Congoleum, Alloc, Johnsonite, Harris-Tarkett Wood and Graniti Fiandre. Foster Bishop founded the company in 1959. The family-owned employs more than 100 people, including nearly 25 filed representatives that service the distribution area. Bishop Distributing operates two stocking warehouses in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Indianapolis, Ind. Bishop Distributing boasts nearly 100,000-square-feet of warehousing space.
