Bayside Yacht Club, situated on William Rosso Highway and Lake St. Clair, was established in 1961 by boaters formerly affiliated with the Fisher Body Yacht Club, later changing its name after a year.
Since its founding, the club has expanded through the construction of a clubhouse, garage, and patio deck, as well as through its affiliations with the Inter Lakes Yachting Association and membership in the "Anchor Bay Yachting Association."
