Operational for more than 40 years, Gratiot County Community Mental Health offers a range of health care services. It provides a variety of alcohol and drug prevention and treatment programs. The center offers various social and recreational activities for individuals with mental illness in Gratiot County, Mich. It provides several individual, group, relationship and family therapies. Gratiot County Community Mental Health provides counseling services for children, adolescents and adults. The center offers partial hospitalization, intensive case management and outpatient treatment programs. It maintains an advisory council and steering committee. Gratiot County Community Mental Health maintains a presence in Alma, Mich.

Our Behavioral Health Department provides a team approach toward patient-centered care. The treatment team is comprised of the primary care providers and behavioral health specialists. Master-level behavioral health clinicians provide psycho-social assessments and short-term individual and family counseling. Psychological evaluations and medication management provided by a behavioral health psychiatrist may also be incorporated into the patient’s care. In addition, the Behavioral Health Department provides community resource referrals for substance abuse detox and treatment and other community services.
