Back Alley Bikes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community bike shop located in the Cass Corridor of Detroit. Since 1999, they have been dedicated to providing cycling education and services, with a particular focus on youth development, sustainable practices, and community access.

It's good to know that there are still independently run bike shops that are around to support cycling within the community. If you're looking for Giant or Trek bicycles, this is not the place....

This organization came to our condo and stole my and my wife's bikes. I've called them to get our bikes returned and they don't return calls. I'm going to the police now

Would give less if possible. rude, aggressive argumentative, and incapable of running a business of any kind in anyway. it cost nothing to be nice.

Recently broke my front wheel hub nuts and stopped in. They repaired the wheel with no waiting and had me back on my bike in less than 15 minutes. Great service! Thank you!
