What an amazing place in northern Michigan!!!! Cleanest friendliest place around mio!!! Prices are great and the pool and hot tub clean and fun!!! Wouldn't stay any other place!!! The staff here...

Built in 2000 the Ausable Valley Inn is the newest most modern motel in area. Most new guest respond that they never expected this modern motel with an indoor pool in a rural area like this. The motel overlooks the Ausable Valley and the Ausable River. The Ausable River is know world wide for it's trout fishing. The section below Mio is known as the "Trophy Water" because if its large brown trout. The river is also known for its canoeing and kayaking. Because approx 2/3 of the land in Oscoda County is owned by the US Forest Service and State of Michigan there are many miles of Snowmobile and Orv Trails. You can also enjoy just a long walk in mother nature and enjoy the nature sights and sounds.
