Anchor Inn On the Bay

The Anchor Inn on Bay, LLC is a quaint family operated resort, where we strive to provide you with a place to relax and get away from it all. Our cottages and motel rooms are situated in a beautiful park like setting. You may choose from 1 or 2 bedroom cottages with full kitchens - we even supply your linens. Or, you may wish to dine at any of the many area restaurants - for you we offer six unique motel rooms. All of our units have access to the charcoal grills and picnic tables. If you wish to stay in touch with the world, there are cable televisions, telephones and wireless internet access in each of the units. Rest in the sun, swim, or enjoy a quiet evening on our a private sandy beach across the road. The West Grand Traverse Bay deepens very gradually at our shoreline and the water is crystal clear. For you fishing, boating, & jet ski enthusiasts, the public launch is less than one mile away. We have ample trailer parking. A large playground structure will keep the children entertained, while you watch from the convenience of your lawn chair. Or, if you are looking for some exercise, try your hand at horse shoes or volleyball. For some old-fashioned quality family time, you may enjoy an evening around a campfire. Regardless of your interests, the Anchor Inn, is a place you can call home during your stay in the Traverse area. We are conveniently located, in a quiet setting, only two miles north of Traverse City on M-22, where you are close to all the activities and major attractions in the area. In the summer, swimming, boating and fishing abound. In the fall, the colors are spectacular.
