American Cooling Systems, located in Grand Rapids, Mich., designs and manufactures engine cooling fans for original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket use. Established in 1999, the company offers a line of high efficiency fans that are available in clockwise and counter-clockwise rotations, with diameters up to 38 inches. ACS has also developed and patented a laser-assisted computerized fan balancing system using hub-mounted balance weights. It uses a controlled coating process on the fan center disk, which reduces unbalance in the center disk material and provides corrosion resistance. Additionally, American Cooling Systems offers a full line of replacement fans for on- and off-road applications.
