Agap Plastics is a fabricating and manufacturing company that specializes in custom injection and insert molding. A TS16949, ISO 14001-certified company, it provides complete research, design, engineering and production services to a wide range of industrial clients. The company was founded in 1973 and has provided injection-moldings to Steelcase and American Seating. It began providing two-bolt stud plates to General Motors in 1983. Insert molded fasteners are the core of the company s insert molding business. In 1995, the company received ISO registration and in 1997, it became QS 9000 certified. It gained Nascote Industries as a customer, supplying them with insert molded fasteners, retainers and reinforcements. The company occupied a 56,000-square-foot facility in 1999. Agap s insert molding machines and horizontal molding machines are computer controlled for precision and accuracy and range from 30-500 tons in clamping force.
