Meridian Street Foundation

The Meridian Street Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1960 to preserve the historic, scenic, and aesthetic character of the North Meridian Street preservation area in Indianapolis. They support the North Meridian Street Historic District, which consists of properties along both sides of North Meridian Street between 40th Street and Westfield Boulevard, and work to control the destiny of the neighborhood.

Homeowners in the North Meridian Street Historic District have access to a wealth of information and resources to help them maintain and enhance their homes, with nearly 70% of the homes in the area dating back to the 1920s and 1930s. The foundation also sponsors special events throughout the year, some exclusive to members, and holds monthly board meetings to discuss preservation efforts and community initiatives.
