History
I started out selling from a pushcart in Quincy Market, and moved up to selling at flea markets, colleges and pushcarts at malls selling Nepali woodblock prints from Kathmandu. From there, I opened a shop in Provincetown center. I've had shops in Newport, Provincetown, Rockport, Cambridge, Wellfleet, Eastham, and Orleans. I've been in the current 3000 square-foot shop here in Orleans for 11 years now. I'm still going to Bali every year to get the handicrafts and the teakwood benches. New stock in all the time!
Specialties
We've got it all, from sterling silver jewelry, paintings from all over the place, including some local consignments, Indonesian furniture and handicrafts, especially teak wood root furniture ideal for the fire pit, exquisite wood carvings, and now an unusual selection of antiques. The owner has been all over the world and has been importing exquisite things for over 25 years.
