Citizens for Citizens, Inc. is an anti poverty social services agency, assisting over 42,000 households each year by providing short-term services that support families during financial crisis situations through its Fuel Assistance, Food Pantry, and Rental Assistance programs. In addition, CFC provides long-range solutions through diverse programs that seek to empower low-income individuals and families with the ability to overcome the burdens of poverty by giving them the tools necessary to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency by offering programs such as Weatherization Assistance, Head Start,Early Head Start, After School Day Care, HEART WAP, Senior Aide, Foster Grandparent, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Family Planning, and Volunteer Income Tax Return Preparation. Citizens for Citizens, Inc. is a Community Action Agency, established in 1965, CFC administers more than twenty programs for more than 42,000 low and moderate-income residents with expenditures exceeding 27 million dollars. CFC service area includes Fall River, Taunton and the nine surrounding towns of Berkley, Freetown, Dighton, Lakeville, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Somerset, Swansea and Westport.

Healthworks at Codman is a fitness center for Women and Children featuring strength training and cardio equiptment as well as group fitness classes and a youth fitness zone. All membership rates are based on a sliding scale from $10 to $30 according to income.
