The Vilna Shul is Boston's only authentic Jewish historical, cultural and spritiual site. Located on the North Slope of Beacon Hill, the Old Back of Town, the Vilna continues to be a place of learning (shul) and is portal that allows visitors to step back in time just by walking in the door.

My Zayde was a Bar Mitzvah at the Vilna Shul in 1931 and returned to his beloved Shul in 2016 Highly recommend visiting if you are interested in learning about the history of Jews in Boston....

Great place. Peggy - the local guide, showed us the place and explained a lot. She was very responsive to all of our questions. As a causal Jewish male, i highly recommend this place.!
