The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. This is a COLLEGE spot for sure. Floors were sticky, and the service was just okay. The food was pretty average pub food. But definitely a vibe later in the day with some classic college drinks....

For a bar it's a great spot and the bar tender Ted makes you feel like an old friend, but as a restaurant it leaves something to be desired. The food is okay nothing really to write home about....

Had a French Onion Soup & salad. Lively place visiting my daughter @ Williams. Only drawback.... and I've heard from her this happened to her before is it took a long time (almost 20-30 minutes)...
