been here twice now and both times the food and drink has been fantastic. lots of good options for food. the sushi is delicious, fig pizza, ricotta salad, orzo shrimp..all great options and tons...

Welcome! The Poynt is thrilled to be up and running in downtown Newburyport! We are serving up a unique menu unlike anything else in town that includes a little something for everyone! Our menu includes dishes, created by our Chef Peter Hansen, inspired by many different cultures and tastes including everything from sushi rolls + wood-fired pizza, to New York Steak! Owners John and Laura Wolfe, who live blocks away from the restaurant, are thrilled to have opened a restaurant in their hometown + look forward to seeing many new + familiar faces! Please note that we do NOT accept reservations at The Poynt!
