Chatham Marconi Maritime Center

We are pleased to announce a $100, 000 donation from Qualcomm honoring Verizon Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Dick Lynch. Qualcomm's donation is part of its 25th Anniversary Technology Innovation Partner Award Program. This donation will help CMMC preserve and demonstrate the history of maritime wireless communication and develop innovative education programs to explain science and technology to the public. These programs will enhance the education initiative announced at our recent Annual Meeting. CMMC's goal is to become a center for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) on Cape Cod. To meet that goal, CMMC will expand its work with local educators to spark student interest and excitement in STEM topics by offering hands-on, experiencial topics.
