The Brass Monkey is located in the West End of the historic seaport of Gloucester. The West End is located on the harbor, close to beaches, and is surrounded by wonderful shops, historical sites, and restaurants. Prior to 2016, the building housed Palazola's sporting good store for over 40 years. The building was renovated by the new owners and now houses 8,500 sq ft of shopping on two floors. Sweats of Gloucester leases part of the first floor and offers the large selection of local sweats, tees and gifts...for all ages! I really neat souvenir store in downtown Gloucester on Main St. they have really cool things to take as a keepsake. The price seem to be reasonable from trinkets, to artwork and plenty of clothes...

Love this shop! On a recent visit I found a Hobo purse there that I really liked, but needed (in my mind!) a cross body strap to make it perfect. The salesperson/owner I spoke with left a message...

Great shop!! Lots of nice high end items, and great sales racks also! We were traveling with co workers and we found great souvenirs. Everyone was so nice and friendly to the Southerners!
