East Boston Social Centers is a nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of services for more than 1,000 children, families and senior citizens. Located in East Boston, Mass., it offers childcare programs, after-school activities, meetings, conferences, day and overnight camps. Its programs for seniors include monthly field trips and several social and recreational activities. It organizes movie screenings, dance, exercise, and art and craft classes. Its senior nutrition program offers classes in fitness and wellness. The organization runs an after-school program that serves students in the ages of eleven to seventeen. Its youth network provides academic assistance, disease prevention education, leadership training, cultural exploration and socio-recreational activities. It offers volunteering activities associated with its different programs. Its Playschool offers a wide variety of learning opportunities for children, including educational computer games, field trips to museums and historical landmarks and environmental awareness activities.

The Worcester Jewish Community Center has been in existence for more than 60 years, organized in the 1940s as an activity center for Jewish youth. The purpose of the center is to strengthen and enrich the lives of all Jews in the Greater Worcester Community through diverse programming and services for families and individuals. In addition the JCC serve as a common meeting ground and fosters relationships in an environment made up of rich customs and traditions of Jewish heritage. The center promotes life-long health of the body and mind through recreational and fitness services and cultural and educational activities. The Worcester JCC is a member agency and a beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts. Membership is open to all, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or economic condition.

Founded in 1968, People, Incorporated is one of the largest multiservice corporations that serves individuals with disabilities in southeastern Massachusetts. The organization maintains a staff of more than 300 employees. It supports Greater Fall River Early Intervention, which is a community-based program certified by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. This program includes developmental play groups, behavior management assistance and hippotherapy services. People, Incorporated operates the Young Parents Learning Center, as well as administers various early intervention programs to serve pregnant and postpartum women. Its early intervention programs include health screening, prenatal care, emotional support and nutritional counseling services. In addition, the organization offers several residential, employment, and community and family support services. Located in Fall River, Mass., People, Incorporated is certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The organization is funded by the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and Massachusetts Commission for the Blind Foundations.
