History

The Cinema Room at TCAN was completed in fall 2016 and features state-of-the-art digital projection equipment with comfortable seating for 120 patrons. The projection equipment and audio systems were professionally designed and installed by Boston Light & Sound, one of the nation's leading entertainment technology companies located in Brighton, MA. BL&S audio and video engineers have designed systems for Berklee College of Music, Coolidge Corner Theatre, Martin Scorsese's Screening Room in Manhattan and the 2001 Bryan Adams Concert Tour. The Cinema Room itself was designed by architect Chris Milford and designer Patricia Ford of Milford & Ford Associates.

Specialties

TCAN presents a wide variety of movies in its Cinema Room including independent films, vintage classics, recent releases, family films and music-related movies. The Cinema Room is available on a limited basis for private rentals and special events. We frequently rent out the space for birthday parties!
