Tacos Mexico, founded by Antonio Moreno in 1975, began as a catering truck offering authentic Mexican tacos made from family recipes and fresh ingredients. The success of the food truck led to the opening of a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Los Angeles in 1977, with Mr. Moreno expanding the menu to include a variety of traditional dishes over the years.
By 2000, Tacos Mexico had grown to nearly 100 locations across Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona, all while remaining committed to quality ingredients and hand-prepared meats. Though Mr. Moreno passed away in 2009, his legacy and passion for serving authentic Mexican food continue to thrive in each restaurant.
