Newton Public Schools offers education to more than 11,000 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The district consists of over 20 schools that include elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1893 and located in Barrington, R.I., St. Andrew's School is a coeducational school that provides academic education and religious programs. The school enrolls more than 200 students in grades six through 12. Its curriculum includes English, fine and language arts, math, humanities, foreign languages, science and social studies. Additionally, it provides physical and technology education. St. Andrew's School organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, dance, music, theater and debate competitions and intramural sports. The school has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum books, encyclopedias, referral sources and access to the Internet. It provides various sports activities, such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, badminton, golf, swimming and tennis. St. Andrew's School also provides Renaissance and summer school programs, and career counseling and student support services. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and serves students in grades nine through 12. The school has technology, special education, art, business education and foreign language departments. Its curriculum also includes English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school has a sports department that includes various athletic teams, such as baseball, basketball, hockey, football, golf, soccer, softball, volleyball, track and cheerleading. It offers membership for math team, marching and jazz bands, and art, book, drama, media and language clubs. In addition, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School provides independent study and student assistance programs. The school is a part of the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School District.
