It offers a variety of one- and two-bedroom apartments in independent, assisted living and the village lodging options. Each of its apartments are equipped with kitchens, patios, balconies, living rooms, telephones, cablevision hookups, smoke detectors, fire alarm systems and private bathrooms. Its assisted living community is for those who need personal assistance services in their normal routine works. Thirwood Place offers local transportation, meal preparation, and weekly housekeeping and linen services. It also maintains a dining room and auditorium and organizes various social and recreational activities. The community has a staff of social activists, home healthy aides and nurses.
