Founded in 1926, South Shore Mental Health is one of the leaders in providing services for children, teens, and families experiencing serious emotional problems, behavioral issues, developmental disabilities and substance abuse. It provides services that assist people in acquiring and maintaining the physical, mental and social skills. South Shore Mental Health offer services along the continuum of care, including day treatment and intensive wrap-around services. In addition, the center provides child and family services in the home, school, childcare center, group residence and other community settings.
