The South Bay Mental Health Center is a community-based, behavioral health care center that provides a continuum of services to children, adults and families in eastern Massachusetts. It offers outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling, day treatment and early intervention services, as well as administers various partial hospital programs. The mental health center, founded in 1986, supports more than 20 programs and employs a work force of over 500 staff members. With a location in Worchester, Mass., the South Bay Mental Health Center participates in a range of insurance plans, including Neighborhood Health Plan, United Behavioral Health, Boston HealthNet, Value Options and Network Health.
