Society of Printers
The Society of Printers, founded on February 14, 1905, is dedicated to the study and advancement of the art of printing. Meeting monthly from October through May in Boston's historic Beacon Hill, the Society fosters lively discussions, shared meals, and lectures on topics of interest to its members.
Governed by a Council of educators, designers, printers, conservators, and librarians, the Society also collaborates with the Boston Public Library to host the Annual W.A. Dwiggins Lecture. Additionally, it publishes works that document significant aspects of design history, offering both in-print and out-of-print titles available for public purchase.
