Kevin is responsible for Smart Destinations' overall business strategy and direction. With more than 20 years of marketing and product management experience, Kevin's vision is behind the company's global growth. A veteran entrepreneur, Kevin has played a leading role at a number of successful global software brands and Internet start-up companies, including Netspoke ( acquired by Premier Conferencing ), exchange.com ( acquired by Amazon ), and Delphi Internet ( acquired by News Corporation ), as well as launching first generation products for Sybase and FTP Software. Kevin holds a BS from the University of Connecticut School of Business. A Travel industry Veteran, Cecilia is leading the charge in Smart Destinations' consumer product expansion, overseeing all day to day field operations and strategic distribution partnerships both domestic and International. Prior to founding Smart Destinations, Cecilia developed innovative travel packages throughout the world and was responsible for a $30 million line of business for Collette Vacations, one of the largest and most successful travel wholesalers in the United States. Prior to that, she spent six years at Saga Holidays, a travel company specializing in programs for travelers aged 50 and over. Cecilia was named one of Boston Business Journal's Top 40 Executives under 40 in 2005. Cecilia is an active volunteer and New England e-Council member for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship as well as an active fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society including participation several Team in Training events. Cecilia holds a degree in Leisure Management and Tourism from University of New Hampshire. With over 15 years experience working with and for Internet leaders, Rob is responsible for Smart Destinations marketing and online presence. Previously, Rob was a Vice President at GSI Commerce, where he led the teams responsible for the online stores of companies such as adidas, Bath and Body Works, Dick's Sporting Goods, and iRobot. He worked closely with these and other clients to support their expansion into customized products, paper catalogs, and multi-channel commerce. Prior to joining GSI Commerce, Rob was responsible for the retail practice of Fort Point Partners, a leading eCommerce consulting and systems integration boutique whose clients included Best Buy, J.Crew, and Martha Stewart. He also worked McKinsey & Company advising retail and media clients on their Internet and eCommerce strategies in the U.S. and Europe. Rob first started working in the Internet in 1994, when he joined Internet software pioneer Worlds Inc. He received his BA from Yale, a MA in Philosophy from Cambridge, and an MBA with high distinction from Harvard. Matt oversees all aspects of the Smart Destinations technology network across North America, enabling attraction partners and consumers to benefit from the company's smart card platform. Matt also is responsible for the technical infrastructure behind Smart Destinations Web presence. He has more than 10 years experience working at a range of technology oriented startups such as Iwant.com, Performaworks ( purchased by Workscape ) and BlueSocket. Just visited after construction was done and went through a demonstration of the process. Very friendly and professional group. Fast and efficient for sure, and a hip looking space.

About TKA Ted Kurland Associates was founded by Ted Kurland in 1975 in Boston. At the time, he was a recent graduate from Brandeis University with a major in Economics. After Kurland graduated, he first worked for a small Boston talent agency, an invaluable experience that launched his career into the talent booking business. With two partners, he later started All American Talent, an agency that booked primarily blues artists such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, George Thorgood, Ko Ko Taylor, among others. All American Talent turned into Ted Kurland Associates and the agency's emphasis shifted to booking jazz performers. Eminent jazz vibraphonist, Gary Burton, was the first artist to become a client of the new company. Soon after, other major performers such as Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Bill Evans, Roy Haynes, Milt Jackson, Charles Mingus, Isaac Hayes, Dexter Gordon, Nina Simone, Modern Jazz Quartet, Jaco Pastorius, Ravi Shankar, Astor Piazzolla, Stephane Grapelli, Tony Williams, David Grisman, Freddie Hubbard many other celebrated jazz musicians joined the growing family of artists represented by the agency. Ted Kurland Associates grew over time as more musicians were added to the roster and the agency began to handle their clients' recording, music publishing, movie soundtrack and video production and licensing deals. In the early 1980's, the agency expanded their bookings internationally and became well established in every major and minor market in the world, arranging tours throughout Asia, South America and Europe for the artists on the agency's roster. The agency is focused into three major divisions: Senior Vice President Laurel J. Wicks directs the domestic bookings, Senior Vice President David Sholemson oversees management of Pat Metheny Kurland directly supervises International bookings and co-ordinates all operations. Although Ted Kurland Associates has remained most well-known for representation of major jazz artists, prominent performers from other fields such as blues, world and pop music are also represented by the agency. As the staff of Ted Kurland Associates celebrates over 35 years of service, they look back on decades of growth and success in one of the most exciting fields in the entertainment business.
