HistoryCoco Verde Vegan was born out of a love of bold authentic Latino flavors and a desire to enhance healthy lifestyles for everyone, dish by flavorful dish. Chefs Ivannoe and Cecilia were inspired to make a change after the birth of their daughter, Ivanna, knowing the high rates of diabetes and high blood pressure in Black and Latino communities and how plant-based diets can help lower these rates. We use influences from our Dominican background, to create healthy, plant-based options without sacrificing tradition and flavor!
