Depending, as did our fathers, upon the continued guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, we work and pray for the transformation of the world into the Kingdom of God ; and we look with faith to the triumph of righteousness and the life everlasting. We believe in God the Father, in Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, in the Holy Spirit, in the authority of the Holy Scriptures, in the worth of worship, and in the value of the sacraments. Each member shall have the undisturbed right to follow the Word of God according to the dictates of his own conscience, under the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, as did the Pilgrims of Colonial times and the early Christians. We solemnly covenant to study the peace, purity, and well-being of this church ; to attend its services ; to support its worship and ordinances ; to love its members as our brothers and sisters in Christ ; and to honor our Lord, as we may be able by an upright life.
