Sail into history on Gloucester’s National Historic Landmark, Schooner Adventure! Adventure is the last of the storied line of wooden dory fishing trawlers out of Gloucester, is once again serving her home port. Built in Essex in 1926, this 122-foot schooner is an icon of the American fisheries and a floating classroom for maritime history and educational programs. Designed as a ‘knockabout’ without a bowsprit for the safety of the crew, Adventure is available for tours, community sails, events and educational programming. Carefully restored and Coast Guard certified to carry passengers, she is based at the Maritime Gloucester piers at 23 Harbor Loop. It is truly a destination not to be missed!

What fun! The wind in your hair. Captain Harold at the helm. A great crew. The scenery can't be beat. Great for kids and adults alike.
