About Our School Shooting Star Dance Center was founded in 1978 by owner/director Carol-Ann Boardway Chapin. Miss Carol has been dancing for nearly 40 years. She developed her life-long passion for teaching the art of dance at a very young age. Miss Carol received her Masters in Ballet and Theatrical Arts from the Dance Educator's of America Teacher Training School in 1982 and continues to train and learn consistently.
