History

Sam's & Son, was initially opened in the historic Walter Baker Chocolate Factory of Boston - Dorchester, Massachusetts by Sam and Roberta Bernstein. Howie, the current owner since 1989, rejoined the family business in 1980 and eventually expanded the workroom, in 1987, to its current location in Hyde Park, Massachusetts. Sam's is a custom drapery workroom, to the trade, producing a high quality drapery product - for decorators and designers, throughout the Boston area. Over the past few years, Sam's custom base expanded nation-wide. In addition to draperies, soft-top treatments, medical cubicle curtains and stage draperies, pillows, cushions and assorted other soft goods are fabricated on site. The company prides itself on its distiction for fabricating high quality products; as well as, the ability to provide excellant quality service, to its customers.
