Salem City-School Department Bentley

Bentley School offers academic programs to more than 350 students in grades kindergarten through five. Its educational programs include art education, reading, technology, arts festival, science integration, active music program, including chorus. Its after-school program is administered by the Salem Boys and Girls Club. It has a media center, computers in every classroom and a computer lab. Its enrichment activities include cultural programs, drama, music, games, arts and crafts, partner reading program, basketball and chorus. It offers various facilities, such as an instructional media center, gymnasium, art and music rooms, cafeteria, weather station, and computer and science labs. Its school adjustment counselor provides short-term counseling and consultation services to students, parents, guardians and staff. Its child study team is a group of staff members that provides teachers with consultation and support to enhance their effectiveness in the classroom.
